How cute was Drew Barrymore as Gertie in E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial? Now that Drew’s all grown up, the Grey Gardens actress and her former director Steven Spielberg are reportedly in discussions to bring the classic box office blockbuster back to Earth in a new big budget Hollywood sequel, 27 years after it first warmed our hearts,In 1982, a six-year-old Drew cemented her place in child star history with her performance as Gertie, a precocious little girl who joins the rest of her family in befriending an alien visitor from out of space. According to movie industry big mouths, Drew and Steven have met to discuss the project, which will feature E.T. returning to Earth to rejoin the now-adult Gertie in E.T. 2. Speaking to The National Enquirer, a unidentified tipster says: “Steven and Drew are being very secretive about this baby. But they want to do this project and work together. Steven has an incredible story in mind for the sequel that will bring E.T. back to earth.” Let’s hope this isn’t true. E.T. was cinematic genius at its finest. Model 'sacked for being too large'

The former Ralph Lauren model, whose image in a much-criticised advertisement was made thinner, has said the clothing giant did not renew her contract because she was "too large". Polo Ralph Lauren said it sacked Filippa Hamilton because of a contract dispute and that the photo was released mistakenly. But Hamilton, 23, said: "They fired me because they said I was overweight and I couldn't fit in their clothes anymore." Hamilton, who had worked for the company since she was 15, said she considered Polo Ralph Lauren her second family. The company acknowledged in a statement that the image of Hamilton that appeared last week in a Tokyo mall had been digitally altered. Hamilton, a New York resident who is half-Swedish and was raised in France, went public after the photo surfaced. She has been looking for another job since she was dismissed in April, said Jesse Derris, her spokesman at Sunshine Sachs & Associates. The photo's emaciated depiction of her, with hips about as narrow as her head, could make young women "think that it's normal to look like that -- and it's not", the 5ft 10in, 8st 8lb model told NBC's Today show. "I saw my face on this super-extremely skinny girl, which is not me; it's not healthy, it's not right," she said. Brother and sister were strangled

A brother and sister who were allegedly killed by their father had been strangled, tests revealed. Theo Molemohi, aged two, and Yolanda Molemohi aged four, were found unconscious at their home in Manchester on Wednesday morning. A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said: "The cause of death for both children was strangulation." Their father, 37, was arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in hospital after collapsing in police custody. Officers described Petros Mwashita's condition as "unwell" but hope to question him later on Thursday. Mwashita is also known to use the name Petros Williams. The children's mother, Morongoe Molemohi, discovered their bodies in the bedroom of the flat in Whalley Road, Whalley Range. Police said their father was with them. Detective Superintendent Geoff Wessell, of GMP, said the parents were recently estranged. It is understood that the Zimbabwean couple had separated and Ms Molemohi had moved out of their ground floor housing association flat and been living in bed and breakfasts as well as homeless shelters. Mr Wessell said the children spent the weekend with their father and their mother had gone to the flat to pick up some of her belongings when she made the grim discovery. Mr Wessell said detectives were not seeking anyone else in connection with the deaths. The family has lived in England for six years. It is believed that Ms Molemohi was studying for a PhD and her husband was unemployed. Flowers and teddy bears were left outside the block of flats. One home-made card in the shape of a daisy had a photo of the two deceased children on it. HPV Vaccine Causes Deaths And 94% Risk Of Infertility

Merck has stopped promoting the mandatory use of Gardasil that targets the human papillomavirus (HPV). It’s probably no coincidence that their turn-around comes at the same time that reports from the National Vaccine Information Center are surfacing about fainting, dizziness and death reported by dozens of patients as side effects of Gardasil. There are also some concerns that Gardasil will cause a 94% chance of infertility. Legislators got that idea because the vaccine contains Polysorbate 80, which is linked to infertility in mice. The Merck HPV vaccine also contains sodium borate which is a common roach killer in each of its three doses. The National Library of Medicine (NLM) of the National Institutes of Health notes of sodium borate that it “is now known to be a dangerous poison, it is no longer commonly used in medical preparations.” That was published in 2005. Yet the FDA in 2006 approved the Merck vaccine with this “dangerous poison” to be “commonly used” in these vaccinations. The symptoms of sodium borate poisoning according to the NLM citation include many of the side effects being reported after less than six months of the vaccine usage. These include convulsions, collapse, and seizures that include twitching of facial muscles, arms, hands, legs, and feet. How many of these young women taking this vaccine will find out that they are barren 10 to 15 years down the road(as it works slowly so you'll hardly notice)and what will their options be if they are forced to take this drug because of legislation mandates? and whats the most scary thing? triple the amount of deaths,symptoms,Infertility,and being barren down the road(same as before,the"vaccine"works slowly to kill any chance of you having more offspring"both in men and women")and you have the swine flu jab(my view)-I told you so...didn't i? the video that contains the report on this was deleted for some reason,my guess some people didn't want the truth to get out!

Two separate auctions are offering people the chance to bid for locks of hair belonging to the greatest male pop stars of the 20th century: Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson. Presley's hair is being auctioned in Chicago, while 12 strands of Michael Jackson's locks are going under the hammer in London. The clump of Presley's hair is one of around 200 items of memorabilia being sold at the Leslie Hindman auctioneers on Sunday. All hail from the collection of Gary Pepper, an Elvis superfan. The hair is expected to fetch as much as $100,000 (£63,000). The strands from Jackson's head, meanwhile, date from the singer's freak accident in 1984 when his hair caught fire during the filming of a TV advertisement for Pepsi. The dozen follicles were retrieved by Ralph Cohen, the advert's executive producer, who took off his coat to put out the flames. Richard Davie, of International Autograph Auctions, is selling the hair and other artefacts at the Radisson Edwardian hotel at Heathrow Airport in London this weekend. He said: "This memorabilia has doubled in price since Michael Jackson died. Jackson has huge global appeal with collectors all around the world. "Of all the things he has done, including dangling his baby from the window and sleeping in an oxygen tent, the hair-burning incident stands out.
