PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (USA TODAY) -- Investigators say a Philadelphia teenager wrapped a cat in duct tape, put it in a shopping bag and left it in a neighbor's backyard.
The Pennsylvania Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals says 19-year-old James Davis was arrested Saturday night on animal cruelty charges.
Official George Bengal says Davis admitted to taping up the cat from neck to tail after he spotted it in his yard Sept. 21. He did not turn himself in, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer story.
Bengal told the Inquirer:
"Davis left the cat in his yard for a couple of hours, then, because the animal kept screaming, tossed it into a neighbor's yard, where at least 12 hours passed before she was noticed and authorities were contacted."
The gray tabby was nicknamed Sticky by animal welfare workers. It was dehydrated and had to be sedated while the tape was cut off its fur.
Animal welfare workers are still looking for Sticky's owner. Davis faces up to two years in prison and a minimum $1,000 fine if convicted.(my view)-What the fuck is wrong with kids today!if convicted...IF........if i was a judge i will not let him pass go or a fine....he'll go to jail and duct tape his pubes then rip the tape off...see how funny that is!.

A 19 year old is not a teenager....He is an adult!!! Over 18 is adult! He should be rolled up in duct tape himself and left for a few hours outside in the elements just to see how he likes it! What an asshole.....then he needs to do community work for free for months! Hopefully in a place that needs help, like a vets office and he should be watched carefully! I'm pissed off at this! Animal cruelty is not to be taken lightly! Animals are defenceless!!!! Well, unless you throw the cat at the assholes naked balls! hehe xxx

i personally think this dip shit should be taken to the zoo put in the lions cage and let him try to duct tape them. See how far he gets with that. Let the shithead see how it feels to be defenseless and small.
